Arctic sea Ice up 60 percent in 2013

What article I read is 'Arctic sea Ice up 60 percent in 2013.' It is about the changing arctic sea ice coverage between in 2012 and 2013. Approximately a million more square miles of arctic sea ice are increased in a year. Unlike people think that global warming is kept going, the dramatic rise of arctic ice is occurring about more 60 percent in 2013 than 2012. According to Anastasios Tsonis of the University of Wisconsin, this cooling trend will continue for the next 15 years at least. It means the atmosphere warming has stopped since 1990s. The growth in ice can be explained as several reasons; the slowdown in global warming, a decline in heat from the sun, and  a lot of heat being into the deep oceans.

Painkillers prescribed new labels by FDA

Reading this through PBS lead me to the FDA page telling about their plans to change labeling for opioids, or long-release pain killers.  These prescription drugs alter the way the brain 'feels' and perceives the pain while coming in many forms from pills to skin patches. Even at the recommended doses there are many indications of addiction, overdosing and death. After reviewing medical reports and gathering information from experts to patients the FDA has decided to require new label wording and actions to help doctors and patients make the right choice. New word choices focus on using the drug only when needed for round-the-clock pain relief when no other less addictive treatment cannot be used  while highlighting at these should not be used as needed like over the counter medications. The FDA's goal and main argument is with these actions they can tackle the overdosing issues while making the doctors and consumer more aware of the true use of these drugs.

Wikistorming: Colleges offer credit to inject feminism into Wikipedia

I read a article which title is "Wikistorming: Colleges offer credit to inject feminism into Wikipedia" on Fox News. This article is that some universities are offering credits to students who inject feminist thinking into Wikipedia. The article seems to have very obvious position about this situation. The reporter says that this is opposite of what students should be taught because personal bias will appear in the article which have to be factual. And she thinks the reason why they involved this program which is also called an eye-opening case of campus bias by some critics is feminism is incredibly popular. In general, the argumentation of the article clearly shows that this program is unreasonable.

Apple unveils gold iPhone 5S, colorful new $99 iPhone 5C

I read the article about Apple's new iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C which have been unveiled with the new high-tech features that Apple invented for last few years. The author of the article tells that iPhone 5S could be the most important product for the technology pioneer. By using the CEO’s explanations about the new iPhones, the author shows how the phone’s specifications and features are highly upgraded such as the features of the Touch ID sensor, which just unlock the phone by touching the home button, and the new A7 chip, which makes the phone twice faster. However, the author also talks about the practical concerns about Apple. The author argues that the Apple’s stock price has declined nearly 30 percent while numerous phone manufacture companies are releasing their Android based phones continuously and cheaply than the iPhone. The article clearly tells that the declined stock price and the fact that all of the new products were developed under Steve Jobs raise worries about Tim Cook’s new regime in Apple.

Miley Cyrus trades twerking for riding naked on wrecking balls and licking sledgehammers

I read the article about Miley Cyrus's new music video.  The article was entitled “Miley Cyrus trades twerking for riding naked on wrecking balls and licking sledgehammers” on Foxnews.com.  The article shows several different arguments about Miley’s newest video.  Some sources believe that she is still trying to show everyone that she is growing up and that she’s not Hannah Montana anymore.  There are also sources who say that the failed to be artistic, while others say that Miley and the producers did not even try to make it artistic. The article does recognize that there are some people, mostly fans of Miley, who loved the video and who think that people are just bashing Miley because they are “jealous”.  Overall, the main argument of the article appears to be that Miley is not only looking for attention, but that she appears “to be in the midst of a crash” according to Ronn Torossian, one of the people in the business who was interviewed for the article.
