Hallyu becomes new engine for magazine industry

The article addresses that K-pop contents are getting popular in the world market, and it becomes new engine for magazine industry as well. The Korean Wave which called "Hallyu" is a neologism. The word refers to the increase in the popularity of South Korean culture, not only in a country, but also all around the world. This "Hallyu" has an huge effect on diverse industries in a positive way, such as magazine industry. According to the author, Hallyu has been a good theme for the magazine industry in the past, especially targeting the Japanese market (value claim). It is actually the future of the industry for magazines to provide very focused and in-depth information rather than general articles that can easily be obtained through the internet. The author claims that the future is quite positive because there is always a demand for good content among people with very specific interests (evidence). I personally hope that K-pop contents develop more so that Korean music or culture can dominate many industries such as the global music market. Additionally, I assert that the Korean Wave (including K-pop contents and Korean culture) is successful and helpful in making an active market for music, drama, and movie in Asia.
