Flameoff: Evolution vs. God movie

This video clip is of a movie Evolution vs God. Ray Comfort is the director, who walks around campuses and asks student and teachers: "Show me proof of evolution?" I saw the many differing opinions on the issue. Not just the debate of God vs. Evolution, but the manner in which Ray Comfort designs the movie, the edited that was used etc. I argued that Comfort was dishonest and wrong in his approach to the debate. A comment by a clearly religious based person had me respond in a calm and educated way. By using concepts from argument analysis, I was able to defend why i believed Comfort made a dishonest movie, and that the entire question is contradicting and confusing for people. I have learned the proper way to respond and deny claims based on reason and evidence. This you tube clip allowed me to channel what I have learned to other people, hoping they may flame-off and respond in a civil way, coupled with evidence. With such a personal issue, I couldn't have hoped to actually win an argument, but I certainly enjoyed pursuing the correct answer based on an education rhetorical act.

My 5 Comments

1.  This "film" and the people who create it are delusional for many reasons. For one, the interviews are ridiculous, each one edited as a part of an entire documentary for an agenda. How can any single person take this seriously or have the ability to defend it?

2. I agree, but I think people who can resort to a creator will at some point support it with organization. It is just utterly ridiculous to believe in anything without proof.

3. +ForumLight Our development is a proven thing. He is asking people to describe a process that has happened over a billion years. It is impossible for them to have clear answers when the video is filed down to the specific moments and saving certain reactions and idiotic things said, which we all do. Religious people are jealous, they have developed an explanation that makes them happy, and try a refute every other thing that could possible conflict with their ideals. Your idea of yourself is so tied to your faith that to go against it would be losing your very existence. You are failing at life with god. Its called Abiogenesis, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abiogenesis.

4. +Catherine Tucker He is clearly looking for answers. When someone watches this they are being given "answers" to questions they have. It is confusing and not backed by any sort of reason or evidence. The movie itself should be subjected to criticism and Ray Comfort should feel sick

5. +ForumLight The fact is that it happened, it just requires a little insight and educating.
