A Modest Proposal: Why waste all this time on the gun control debate?!

My proposal is to crack down on many common-day irritants vs. wasting all this time on how best to handle the gun control issue and the crazy idea of banning guns.  There are PLENTY other things that should be controlled or banned altogether.  Let’s start with those famous Walmart shopper images I’ve seen on web-links.  The person who weighs 500+ lbs. but decides to wear a tube top, no bra and a pair of hot-pants….now THIS is disturbing and may cause nausea by those around them.  Maybe we should have the government raise taxes so we can purchase full length mirrors and hand them out to these style offenders when noticed.  These folks also may prevent retail sales by keeping other shoppers at home to avoid witnessing this.  No wonder the economy is in a state of frenzy!  We also can’t forget about those franchise bastards at Dairy Queen.  How DARE they legally sell a product that they know causes a debilitating ailment?  They should be banning their famous Mr. Misty drink due to the well-known “Mr. Misty Headache Freeze” you get when you drink it too fast!    Based on their website, Dairy Queen admits to having 6,000 locations in operation throughout the US and still has the audacity to sell fattening foods such as the Buster Bar, Blizzard and those addicting Dilly Bars…all adding to the US obesity epidemic!  Damn you Dairy Queen not to mention all of those other companies, such as the Mars company who are peddling those little sugary packages of gold (aka M & M’s, Twix, Snickers, etc).  This MUST come to an end!
